Dr Dane Cole-Clark is a Specialist Urologist and Robotic Surgeon in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.
He attended school in the Hunter Valley prior to relocating to Sydney where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree (University of Sydney) and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (University of Notre Dame, Sydney) in 2012.
Dr Cole-Clark completed 2 years of accredited General Surgical training before commencing advanced Urology training. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) training at hospitals across NSW. Following this he was selected for an international high volume robotic oncology fellowship at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, UK.
Dr Cole-Clark also has a commitment to mentoring and educating medical students, junior doctors and urology trainees. He completed a Masters of Surgical Education (U.Melb) and provides training to those preparing for the Urology Fellowship examinations. During his training Dr Cole-Clark was the NSW and National trainee representative sitting on the Board of Urology.
Dr Cole-Clark has recently returned to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley with an ongoing drive for surgical excellence and providing meticulous and high-standard patient care in a timely manner. He ensures patients have a firm understanding of their condition and encourages questions and discussion to ensure patients are well informed and decisions are made collaboratively.
Dr Cole-Clark lives locally with his wife and children.
