Patient accommodation
Patients are cared for in three modern fully equipped wards. All
rooms are fully carpeted, with electric beds, a range of TV channels
including basic foxtel. Each ward has a recreational area where
TV, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities are available.

Ward 1 - General Surgery / Colo-Rectal Surgery
Ward 1 consists of 32 beds – 12 private rooms with ensuites – semi
private rooms also have bathroom facilities.
The ward cares for patients before and after general, bowel and
vascular surgery.

- Ear Nose and Throat Surgery
- Advanced Gut and Bowel Surgery
- General Surgery including Laparoscopic procedures

WARD 2 - Cardiothoracic
Ward 2 consists of 32 beds - 16 private rooms with ensuite. All
Semi private rooms have bathroom facilities.

- Insertion of Pace Makers
WARD 3 - Orthopaedic / Urology
Consists of 32 beds – 16 private room with ensuites - Semi-private
rooms also have bathroom facilities.

Complimentary
Television and Newspapers
Bedside colour television sets are provided free of charge offering
free to air and satellite tv.
Each patient also receives a complimentary daily newspaper.
Flowers and Mail
Flowers and mail are delivered to the patient's bedside.
Telephones
Individual telephones are available at each bedside. Local calls
are free by dialling '0' prior to the number you are dialling.
STD calls can be made by
dialling '9' and requesting the number from our switchboard operator. Public
phones are located outside the Intensive Care Unit and in the Foyer of the
hospital.
Breast Care Services
Our on site Breast Care Nurse provides support and education to our breast surgery patients.
